Support for Classes

Study Lists

The Study List Directory is a computer printout produced by the UCLA Registrar’s Office after the third week of each quarter. The directory lists the classes in which On-Campus Housing students are enrolled. Several of the directories are located in each hall: one in the Resident Director’s Office and one for checkout at the front desk. The directory has a variety of uses, but the most frequently cited use is that of looking up fellow On-Campus Housing students to find missing class notes or to arrange for study partners. See your RA/HC or PA for more details.

Lecture Notes

Every quarter, each housing facility purchases ASUCLA Lecture Notes for selected classes. Lecture Notes are summaries of class lectures which are useful if students have to miss a class or to supplement their own class notes. Lecture Notes are available to residents simply by checking them out of the building’s Front Desk. See the building government Vice-President at the beginning of the quarter to request notes for your classes.

TA Review Sessions

Review Sessions bring students together with an experienced Teaching Assistant to review class material prior to midterm and final exams. Besides the obvious convenience of such an On-Campus Housing based program, TA Review Sessions foster more of an academic atmosphere during finals week and encourage students to review together for their exams. See your RA or PA for assistance in arranging review sessions for your floor or house.
