Hi there and welcome to Canyon Point! (Located in Sunset Village) We have a great student team for the 09-10 year to make your experience the best possible!
Canyon Point is comprised of eight separate houses, with each arranged centrally around our tree (affectionately called "Freddie") and our signature atrium, "The Octagon". We also have a blacktop area with tables and benches, great for studying, playing music and a host of fun programs. With 210 rooms-just enough for our 500-560 residents-there is never a dull moment here. Canyon Point houses its own full time Resident Director, Assistant Resident Director, 8 Resident Assistants, 3 Program Assistants, 7 Student Leaders, and 1 Faculty-in-Residence. Our Canyon Point Resident’s Association (CPRA)is run fully by our students and we would love for new members and participants. Look out for fun CPRA programs all year long!

Canyon Point is considered one of the most beautiful residential halls at UCLA and is situated in the heart of Sunset Village. Located conveniently near the Covel Commons, Bruin Café, the Student Technology Center, and the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center, it is a perfect place for any student looking for an exciting housing experience. Canyon Point is known for its welcoming and sociable atmosphere, great study lounges, and energetic staff and students. Programs such as our annual Gingerbread House-Making Competition, Open Mic Night, Finals Festivals, and trips to Venice Beach and the Getty Museum are only a few of the fun activities that Canyon Point residents participate in every year!
We are excited to have you and look forward to meeting you!
