Hello DeNeve EF Residents! My name is Rebecca Panzica and I will be the DeNeve Evergreen and Fir Resident Director for the 2008-2009 school year. This will be my 6th year as a Resident Director at UCLA, and I served as a Resident Director at Northern Arizona University for 4 years prior to coming to UCLA. It is my vision to create a dynamic community where students can excel in all their pursuits while living in DeNeve EF. The Assistant Resident Director, Elicia Blackford, the RA team, and Student Leaders are working hard to provide each of you with the opportunity to get involved within our community and on campus through a variety of programs. I am really excited about the coming year and encourage you to be an active member of the EF community.
DeNeve EF is a beautiful residence Hall located just off Bruin Walk. DeNeve is a social hub on our residence "hill" and you will often see people lounging in the grass studying or just taking a few moments out of their busy day. We have study lounges located on each floor, a large residential restaurant, and an amazing front desk staff who are available 24 hours a day to assist you with a variety of your needs. My office is located in the 'podium building' right next to the front desk - please stop to say hello!
The DeNeve EF team is planning a fun filled welcome week activity that will include a movie and live music in the main quad. You can expect to have lots of fun and be sure to take advantage of this time to meet others within your community before the busy school year commences!
