SUNSET LUV: "Our Traud Makes People Smile!"

Welcome home to Delta Terrace, the only place on campus that has a triangular quad area or "traud", as we so fondly call it. My name is Janelle Rahyns and I am the Resident Director for Delta Terrace. I will begin my third year at UCLA this fall and I look forward to meeting the Delta Terrace residents.

Delta Terrace is a peaceful retreat nestled in the backdrop of the canyon and wooded area that surrounds the Sunset Village community. The people are friendly and love to socialize, whether it be hanging out in one of our 8 study lounges, playing frisbee or getting to know one another while grilling burgers with their RA on our restaurant grade stainless steel grill. Once inside, you’ll notice the little touches that make Delta Terrace special, like the ambient lighting, well appointed living spaces featuring both private and shared bathrooms and the views of campus. Located in the "heart of the hill" Delta Terrace is steps away from 3 residential restaurants, the Hilltop bookstore, tutoring/Academics in the Commons and so much more!

Besides being a great place to live, Delta Terrace offers unique experiences to get involved and high quality programming that is sure to make your college experience special. Some of the programs we did last year were Movie Nights in the Traud, (Dance Marathon-benefitting pediatric AIDS), Snowboarding at Mammoth, button making during finals time to ease stress). In addition, we have opportunities to gain leadership experience in hall government and do an annual talent show that draws a huge crowd every year! Welcome Transfer students! This fall, 4 of our 8 houses will be the home for incoming Transfer students. Welcome to Delta Terrace.
