"Stay classy, Summit!"
Hello Bruins! My name is Bridget Le Loup, and I will be the Summit Resident Director for 2008-2009. This will be my tenth year working in Residential Life and living in a campus community. My staff and I are here to help you feel at home on the UCLA campus. It is my vision to create a vibrant and inclusive community and to support your academic pursuits. I encourage you to take advantage of the leadership opportunities on your floor, attend our hall programs, and meet the dynamic people that are your neighbors.
Summit has a strong sense of community and we are proud of the traditions that have been established. The Summit staff works hard to ensure that you have a great experience living on campus, and offer a number of events and leadership opportunities for you to participate in. The Summit community is known for unique costumes and haunted houses during All-Hill Halloween and carries on the tradition of the Summit Talent Show, showcasing the extraordinary talent within our community. The Summit Student Leaders feature the "FIR Last Lecture Series" throughout the year, inviting the UCLA Faculty in Residence to impart their wisdom and anecdotes on life to the Summit community.
I maintain high expectations of our community members and encourage you to be familiar with the mission, vision, and community standards of the Office of Residential Life and the concept of being a "True Bruin".

Summit is located just where the name implies—at the very top of the Hill-4,365 steps from central campus to be exact. We are worth the walk! Summit has one full time Resident Director, one full time Assistant Resident Director, 17 Resident Assistants, 9 Student Leaders, 6 Office Assistants, and 1 Faculty in Residence.
