Resident Assistant

The Resident Assistant (RA) is responsible for the student development and community development program within a floor, house, or suite community. The RA:

  • Implements programs for the community
  • Advises the community government
  • Conducts resident intervention interviews
  • Provides formal academic assistance and peer counseling to residents
  • Provides evening duty coverage
  • Responds to emergencies and policy violations
