The Health Sciences Theme Community was established in 2008 at Dykstra Hall. This floor aims to bring together aspiring pre health majors at UCLA and to bring health-related programming to the Hill. The goal of the programming on the Health Science floor is to increase awareness medicine and health-related career fields and resources that are available to college students and graduates. Health Science programs involve speakers and faculty from UCLA’s departments of Medicine, Psychology, and the ASHE center clinic. The Health Science Theme Community is committed to spreading awareness of on-campus groups and programs that focus on areas such as medical school, alternative medicine, genetics, and much more.
